Adoption Costs
When deciding whether to adopt domestically or internationally, families must consider the costs involved. Not only the agency (or agencies) adoption fees, but USCIS fees, notary, translation, Court / Re adoption fees, travel (hotel and airfare) and other costs. Not all fees are due up front, but families must have a comfortable and realistic budget in place.
Bal Jagat- Children's World Inc. has many resources to assist families. Organizations providing grants to families are available as well as adoption loans. "Adoption is a gift of life." Hemlata Momaya, MSW, Executive Director
You ladies are 'Jam Up!' You have an amazing program. Congratulations on your Hague Accreditation renewal. I know you will continue to bring joy to children and families. (Mike A, Community Member)
"Mausami and her team have been in business for over 30 years, and it's clear why--they obviously love what they do and love helping people create their forever family. I highly recommend them --call, ask for advice, they will help you find a way!" (Virginia W)
"Bal Jagat gave me a family that loves me unconditionally and for that I am forever grateful!"- Elena W. (Adopted child from Romania, age 19)
"We are forever grateful to you and Bal Jagat for helping us create our forever family with our beloved and amazing son N!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and Happy 36th Anniversary!!!! We love you! xoxo " S. & P. (Adoptive family with a son from Romania).
"Happy 33rd, Bal Jagat! Thank you so very much for such a wonderful program that has and continues to touch so many souls. Wishing your organization another 31 years!" - David H. (Adopted child [now adult] from India).
"Congratulations! So much gratitude for the joy you bring to our world...I am blessed to know you and Mausami." - S. (Adoptive parent in process).
"Our son has been with us for 20+ years. N. is a great son." - John C. (Adoptive father of a son from Russia).
"The Bal Jagat Team is simply outstanding. Hemlata and Mausami both work extremely hard to satisfy all of their clients with a personal touch. It is mind boggling how they are able to juggle so much with just a two person run adoption agency with help from their social workers. You get such a warm inviting feeling when you visit the office and see all of the children that have helped, and talk with these two ladies. You can see they are truly passionate about adoption. I knew nothing about what the "Hague" meant and the significance of the agency being accredited but Mausami explained it well. You will be in good hands with this agency. Hemlata has been doing this work for over 30 years and her and her daughter are able to manifest a vision of helping as many orphaned children be in happy homes in the United States." - Johnny R.
"Congratulations!!!! We love you." - Amy L. (Mother of an adopted daughter from India).
