China
Bal Jagat is an accredited agency licensed by the Govt. of China (CCAA). China has signed the Hague Treaty. We have successfully placed over one thousand children from China. China is a very successful and popular program.

We are partnered with U.S. Asian Affairs and Norman Niu for Chinese adoptions since 1992. However, we can also provide home study and post adoption services for California families in cooperation with many other agencies in various states for adoption from China.

Children available for adoption from China live in orphanages, and are from the ages of infancy through 15 years. Occasionally, twins are available. Most of the children are healthy and normal. Some correctible handicapped children are also available for adoption. Before their arrival to the United States they are tested for HIV, Hepatitis B and Syphilis.

Families will travel to China for two weeks in a very organized group setting. Travel accommodations will be reserved for the family prior to travel.

China Center of Adoption Affairs (CCAA) receives many applications for international adoption; however, there are a limited numbers of children available for adoption. CCAA has the best interests of the children in their hearts and want to offer them the most positive and stable environment to grow in. Please keep this in mind as they have brought new regulations for inter-country adoption since May 1st 2007. Please see the CCAA website for more information:
