On Saturday August 20, 2011, Bal Jagat- Children’s World Inc. held a get together to discuss Special Needs Adoptions in the home of adoptive parents waiting to pick up their daughter in China. Sixteen families, Bal Jagat staff and social worker, and Norman Niu attended. Families with children with mild correctible special needs attended and many families mailed photographs of their children to show waiting families. The Cohens arranged child care activities, games and snacks for children. Families were able to talk informally with other parents. Many questions were answered and all who attended enjoyed themselves.
