On March 12, 2011, from 12-4pm in Santa Monica, CA, the Network of Indian Professionals LA-OC Division sponsored a special Holi celebration, and we were all invited! Holi - the festival of colors – is undoubtedly the most fun-filled and boisterous of Indian festivals. It’s an occasion that brings in joy and mirth, fun and play, music and dance, and, of course, lots of bright colors! All families and children were invited to attend and participate. Net-IP LA-OC has been generous enough to donate the proceeds of this event to Bal Jagat and we would like to offer them our sincere gratitude for helping us continue to create happy loving homes for orphaned children.
On December 4, 2010 Bal Jagat also celebrated its 27th Annual Holiday Party in Long Beach. Adoptive parents had a chance to meet each other, make new friends, and the children had activities including live piano entertainment and songs by Susan Martin, and Joshua Beall, as well as a chance to meet Santa! Bal Jagat is grateful to everyone who attended and who helped make this event a blast! Please join us on Facebook to see many more pictures!
On June 5, 2010 we celebrated our annual summer picnic! - [See flyer with details.] This was a great opportunity for new families to meet with other parents and children who have been adopted through Bal Jagat. Children from the Phillipines, India, China, Bulgaria, and more. attended, and adoptive parents shared stories of their experiences to help prospective parents. This was a great opportunity for networking in a relaxed casual park setting on a beautiful sunny day in Long Beach, CA! We welcome you to our next event to join the festivities!
